Pirupiru Community High School is the largest high school provider on the Island of Ulawa, situated in the Makira-Ulawa Province. The institution has faced significant challenges due to an unreliable internet connection, which was limited to a poor-performing 3G service.
However, the recent implementation of Kacific Satellite Broadband has transformed the school’s connectivity, providing access to a fast, reliable, and cost-effective internet service.
Mr. Reuben, the principal of the school, expressed his gratitude on the Island Tech Solomons Facebook page, stating, “The people of Ulawa Island—parents, students, and teachers at our school—extend our sincere appreciation to the management of Island Tech Solomons for the timely execution of this project. The school is now benefiting from fast and dependable Wi-Fi services that significantly enhance the educational experience for both students and faculty.
